Jennifer Savion is the postdoctoral fellow at Northwest Forensic Institute. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, New York and obtained her PsyD from Albizu University in Miami, Florida. She completed her internship at Western State Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. She has received a range of clinical training in several correctional and forensic environments, including state jails, secure psychiatric hospital settings, and a total confinement facility for civilly committed sex offenders.
Dr. Savion’s research and clinical interests include: personality disorders and in particular, psychopathy, sexual offender treatment, and evaluations of fitness to proceed, criminal responsibility, diminished capacity, and risk assessment.
